The Calendar and Today screens
This article shows you the two screens for seeing your property at a glance: Calendar for the weeks ahead, and Today for right now.
The Calendar screen
Section titled “The Calendar screen”The Calendar is your diary — the whole property at once: every room as a row, the month across the top, and who is on every night. Use it to answer questions like:
- “Who is staying in the Garden Villa this week?”
- “Do we have anything free next weekend?”
- “Is that booking on the 24th confirmed, or just held?”
- Open the Calendar screen — it opens straight to the full property for the current month, no room to pick first.
- Read across: each room’s row shows its nights; a night with a guest shows their name and a status badge — Held (a booking in progress, not yet confirmed), Confirmed, or Checked in. Use the month arrows to move between months, and the room / room-type filters to narrow down when you only care about part of the property.
- Click any occupied night to open that reservation.
A night with no guest shows plain, unless a rule is set on it: a dashed border means a restriction applies (minimum/maximum stay, closed to arrival or departure), and a hatched fill means stop sell — the date is fully blocked. See Your rooms and prices for what these rules mean and how to set them.

Need to confirm a specific stay for a specific group size? Use the Check availability button — it opens a quick tool where you pick a room, a date range, and a party size and get a straight yes/no. If it’s free, it offers a Create booking link that carries those exact details into the manual-booking form, so you don’t retype them.
The Calendar does not let you block or price dates directly — for that, go to Inventory (see Your rooms and prices).
The Today screen
Section titled “The Today screen”The Today screen is your daily home base — open it first thing, before you open the front desk. It leads with a quick check on how the business is doing, then answers the “what do I need to do today” question in one place:
- Revenue this month, Occupancy, and Bookings this month — three numbers at the very top of the screen, for the current calendar month. Revenue is the total from confirmed bookings; Occupancy shows a percentage plus the actual room-nights it is built from (for example, “42 / 120 room-nights”), so the percentage is never shown without what it actually means; Bookings this month is a plain count. This is the one number worth checking every morning, before anything else on this screen.
- Money needing action — any payment that failed or is stuck waiting on the guest, shown next and biggest among the day-to-day items, because it is the one thing on this screen you actually have to act on.
- Arrivals today — confirmed guests due to check in.
- Departures today — guests due to check out.
- In-house now — guests who are currently checked in, whatever their stay dates.
- New since yesterday — bookings created since this time yesterday, including ones for a stay later in the year.
- A clear alert at the top of the screen if there is an open channel conflict — the same double-booking case covered in Channel conflicts. If you see this alert, deal with it before anything else on the screen.
Every date and time on this screen uses your property’s own time zone, so “today” means the same day to every member of staff, wherever they happen to be checking the dashboard from.

How to know you are reading it right: pick a guest you know is arriving today and confirm they show up under Arrivals today. If they do, you are reading the screen correctly.

Section titled “Next steps”- Your rooms and prices — change prices or block dates.
