The Calendar and Today screens

This article shows you the two screens for seeing your property at a glance: Calendar for the weeks ahead, and Today for right now.

The Calendar screen

The Calendar shows your availability across dates — which rooms are free and which are taken, laid out over time. Use it to answer questions like:

• “Do we have anything free next weekend?”
• “How full are we during the holiday?”
• “Is the Garden Villa open on the 24th?”

1. Open the Calendar screen.
2. Move through the dates to the period you care about.
3. Read across: free dates are open for guests to book, taken dates are not.

If a date is blocked and you do not remember blocking it, check two things: a booking may be sitting on it, or a stop sell rule may be set for that date (see Your rooms and prices).

The Today screen

The Today screen is your morning overview — what is happening at your property right now, at a glance. Start your day here before you open the front desk.

How to know you are reading it right: pick a booking you already know about — a guest arriving this week — and find it on the Calendar. If it shows where you expect, you are reading the screen correctly.

Tip: the Calendar shows you the picture; it is not where you change things. To change prices or block dates, go to Inventory. To work with one booking, go to Reservations.
